Pitts & Spitts BBQ Class

Join us as we discuss the art of smoking -- meats that is. We'll spend three hours discussing the entirety of the smoking process -- from choosing the right smoker, to building a fire, to how to properly slice your meat. We'll have expert pitmasters on hand to lead discussions on the most challenging and important parts of the cook and to answer any questions you have along the way.

It's hot out, so the discussion portion of the class will be held in our air conditioned classroom but we'll have plenty of hands on interaction with the smokers outside.

When?  October 7, 2017 -- 10am -1pm  

What? We'll cover the entire smoking process from how smokers are made to whether or not to sauce your brisket

Where? Pitt & Spitts -- 8721-B Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77080

Food? Yep -- at the end of class we'll have brisket, pork ribs, and sausage for sampling

Drink? Yep -- we'll provide ice cold beer and water to enjoy during the class

Do I need to bring anything? Nope -- we'll have all of the supplies you need to participate, follow along, and take notes. Just bring any questions you have on smoking or grilling
